PBHL-H401, Strategic Planning in Health Organizations
My team and I completed a research project on Riverview Health in Noblesville to explore ways the organization can grow and improve. We looked at different areas such as patient needs, services, and opportunities for expansion. Through this project, we worked together to analyze information and develop ideas that could support the hospital’s future growth and better serve the community.
What I learned
I chose this assignment because it allowed me to work with my team on a real healthcare organization and learn how hospitals like Riverview Health can grow and improve. I was proud of this project because it combined research, teamwork, and problem-solving to come up with ideas that could help the community. It was also a good learning experience because I got to look at healthcare from a different perspective and understand how decisions are made in real organizations. I spent time analyzing information, sharing ideas with my group, and helping organize our findings into a clear presentation. Overall, this assignment was meaningful to me because it helped me build skills in teamwork, communication, and healthcare research that will be useful in my future career.
